Dock Shelter
Dock shelters are enclosures that insulates the doorway where there is usually a dock used for loading and unloading by providing enclosing or seal for the perimeter of the trailers. The shelters are made of brush resistant fabric to prevent wear and tear. There are numerous benefits of using dock shelters as they can fit at any height and styles, they help insulate and prevent damage on the doorways and also the loading truck . The primary purpose of dock shelters is to provide optimum sealing between your firm's buildings and vehicles. By providing an optimum seal between internal and external areas, these stable and durable shelters can keep your goods safe from external contaminants. This means that when your goods are needed, they won't be blighted by dirt.

Retractable/Curtain Dock Shelter
Inflatable Dock ShelterInflatable dock shelters are used to provide tight barrier between the mounting and the striking surface which helps seals any air gaps. They provide the most effective weather protected passageway between the building and the truck.
The best advantage of this dock leveler is that the vehicle does not have to push towards the shelter. This is achieved by the shelter inflating around the docked vehicle to provide complete seaming. The cushions can be easily retracted once the loading is done and the vehicle can be unrestrained and leave the dock area. This dock shelter requires the use of wheel guides so ensure correct alignment of the vehicle when reversing against the dock shelter. When not in use inflatable dock shelters are kept in the deflated position increasing the life expectancy of the product. These type of dock shelters are easily interlocked to the overhead door, vehicle restraint or dock leveler to further automate a controlled environment during the loading/unloading operation. The inflatable design minimizes abrasion and eliminates pressure on the building wall often associated with a compression seal. |
